About me

Alicia Lobo is an actress and, since 2023, also a comedian. She speaks native Spanish and English and is also fluent in French and Italian. She is very athletic and likes to do her own stunts.

This year she has filmed The Night House, under the direction of Jesper Ganslandt. She recently joined the comedy team on the TVE and La 2 programs Malas Lenguas.

Meanwhile, she continues touring around several cities with her comedy show Hola, no me líes (Hi, don’t mess with me), the first show written, directed and starred by herself (tickets available here).

In film, she has worked on projects such as Laura Alvea’s The Sleeping Woman, sharing the cast with Almudena Amor and Javier Rey, and Speaking Sunlight, alongside Carmen Machi and Karra Elejalde.

Her television career includes appearances in series such as Wrong side of the tracks, The Scandal, Missing, Spanish shame, On death row, Refugees (BBC), Amar es para siempre, Ciega a citas or Yo soy Bea , among others.

In musical theatre she stood out in Antoine, awarded the Max Award for Best New Show in 2021.

Trained in Acting at the William Layton Theatre Laboratory (Madrid) and in various dance disciplines, she expanded her training in workshops with Philippe Gaulier, José Carlos Plaza, Miguel Narros, Pablo Messiez, Will Keen, Tamzin Townsend, José Troncoso, Carmen Rico and Andrés Lima.

She has worked with companies such as Yllana, Beon Entertainment, Gran Teatro Bankia Príncipe Pío and William Layton, in addition to working and creating her own productions.

Thanks to a Fulbright scholarship in Performing Arts, she moved to New York, where she studied at HB Studio and with LABrynth Theatre Company. There she received an ACE Award (Association of Entertainment Critics) and an ATI Award (Independent Theatre
Association), starred in Chekhov’s Three Sisters with the HB Studio company, and appeared in the film The Acceptance.

In addition to being an actress, she is a voice-over artist in English and Spanish. In Spain, she has been the voice of Google and Vodafone, and her clients include BBVA, Coca-Cola, La Liga, Activia, Shiseido, Ikea, Olistic, Moeve, and many more.
